CHECK THIS OUT! New device that could save men from sexual infections

There is a new product on the market designed to protect against men against sexually transmitted infections (STI's) when condoms fall short.

The Scroguard™ is the first product available in the United States that protects the entire male genital region from skin-to-skin transmission of herpes, HPV and other STI's, according to the company's website. The unusual-looking but innovative product could drastically reduce the rate of STI transmission, a major international health concern.

What does the ScroGuard™ look like?

The Scroguard™ is admittedly not the most sexy garment you're going to see on man. Made from latex, the device somewhat resembles a plastic nappy with a hole in the front for the penis to fit through. The back looks similar to a thong.

How you use it

To put the Scroguard™ on, place your penis through the hole, and lift the back of the device between your legs to cover your buttocks. Simple fasten the device by buttoning it on either side of your body.

The Scroguard™ is designed to be worn with a condom and the front hole will fit men of almost any size. If the diameter of the penis and the size of the hole differ, an adjustable elastic ring can be placed at he base of the penis, around both the Scroguard™ and the condom, for a tighter fit.

The device is designed for reuse but can be disposed after one use if preferred. It can be washed after use with soap and warm water.

The company believes that Scroguard™ will be the safe sex answer for committed couples, casual lovers, swinging couples and men who "enjoy sexual variety". What do you think? Is this device a quirky fad or will it be widely used by men in the future?
