White Xmas Week: Singing Competition

About the competition:
In the spirit of rewarding people and in anticipation to the White Xmas Week - this Christmas, we are giving an opportunity of a life time to young aspiring music artistes. This opportunity requires participating in the White Xmas singing competition. Participation will be by composing a theme song for the White Xmas week; which is a week set aside to reward people’s loyalty and saying "thank you" for being there this year 2015.

How to enter the competition: Stage 1

1. Interested entrants are to send their best pre-recorded self-composed song, brief biography and lyrics of intended theme song to music@jemimaevents.com. A link will be sent to you to invite your family and friends to vote for you.2. Record a 15 seconds video of yourself singing the chorus of your self -composed theme song and tag us on IG/Twitter @whitexmasweek. Get people to like your post on Instagram to increase your chance of winning.

Stage 2:

1. Successful entrants will be asked to come to our studio for a studio recording of the FULL self-composed theme song.2. This recorded version will be uploaded on our website for votes.3. Votes will be 60% of our Judges final score.

Reward:

Mavin Records on December 23, 2015 will host an almost free year-end concert, which will hold at Eko Atlantic in Lagos, Nigeria.

The concert will feature all Mavin acts, including Don Jazzy, MAMA winning singer Tiwa Savage, Dr. Sid, D’Prince, Korede Bello, D’iJa and Reekado Banks. Also performances by Tolu, Thelma and other Mavin affiliated acts.

EVENT: THE AR'RENA: More Than A Concert...

On Wednesday, 26th of August, a concert different from the others is going take place in UNILAG. The concert runs through series of live performances by top-notch artists like KCEE, Harrysongs, Sexysteel,Vector, TeeQ, Tipsy Araga, YungAce. Instrumental performances by Pappi J and popular female drummer; Topsticks. Not leaving out our stand up comedians and also comedy skits that will keep you laughing all along. To set some heat on stage; a number of dance crews are going to be performing. I don't think anyone will want to miss this show....it is close to being a free show....tickets are just 300 naira!!!
