VIDEO + IMAGES: Industry Night With OLAMIDE
On Wednesday, November 19, 2014, all roads led to Quilox Nite Club, the new venue of Industry Nite. The occasion was the album release party of Yoruba rapper Olamide.
The venue was packed as hundreds of fans, and celebrities came out to support the King of Nigerian rap. As usual DJ Spinall and Jimmie held down the deejaying and hosting duties.
Celebrities at the event included Eniola Badamus, Mr. Songz, CDQ, Adunni Ade, DJ Humility, Moet Abebe, Stephanie Coker, Ehiz of MTV Base, Sound Sultan, Baba Dee, DJ Lambo, and others.
The event started proper when YBNL act Viktoh came out to perform his new single 'All My Ladies'. Next up was YQ who performed his new song 'Tear Rubber'.
Lil' Kesh stepped on stage after YQ, and killed the show with his hit track 'Shoki'. He also performed 'Lyrical', and 'Last Card'.
Star Nation artist OmoAkin also was on stage as he sang 'Ijo Oloti' with Uche Sensei and Tosin Igho supporting him on stage.
Olamide stepped on stage after midnight. He was ushered in by Dotun of Cool FM who is his hypeman. The first song he performed was 'Hood Rap' off his latest album. He continued by performing more songs from 'Street OT'.
He was later joined by Phyno. Together they performed their latest collaborative effort 'In My Circle'. They also went on to rap their other hit singles 'Dope Money' and 'Ghost Mode'.
Reminisce was in the building also. The Alaga Ibile is a frequent collaborator of Olamide. On this new album they worked on 'Hustle, Loyalty, Respect', which they performed for the crowd.
Viktoh came back on stage and performed alongside his boss on 'Up In The Club'. Olamide wrapped up his set with his two hit singles off Street OT, 'Goons Mi', and 'Story For The Gods' with many of his fans bum rushing the stage.
