ORAL SEX: Blow Your Mind!

When it comes to oral sex, people have many different opinions. Most men love receiving and giving oral sex during foreplay. Women, however, have mixed feelings: some women enjoy it, some hate it, and some just do it to make their partner happy. Some women also feel unnecessarily self-conscious about how they look, taste and smell down there.

Whether you call it a blow job, giving head, going down or the more formal cunnilingus or fellatio, oral sex is a personal choice and it is important that both of the partners are comfortable with it – the one should never feel forced into pleasing the other.

While oral sex is definitely not a prerequisite for a satisfying sexual relationship, it can be a very pleasurable ingredient of foreplay that often leads to orgasm, even before the actual sexual intercourse.

If your partner is willing to experiment but feeling self-conscious, ease them into it by expressing your desire for them and telling them how much you enjoy giving/receiving oral sex. Don't be shy to ask them what they like and, if you're on the receiving end, guide your partner and let them know when they're hitting the right spot. Experiment with your mouth, lips, tongue and fingers – blow, suck, squeeze and tickle – your partner’s groaning will soon confirm whether you’re on the right track.

If you don't like the taste or smell when going down, use a flavoured lubricant or get creative with chocolate, cream or whatever tickles your fancy.

When it comes to blow jobs, there is also the question of spit or swallow? Again this is entirely up to you. Not all women like the taste and it can even make them feel nauseous. There are many little tricks to solve this problem. Get him to wear a flavoured condom or feed him some aromatic fruit such as pineapple – apparently it helps to sweeten the taste! Should you choose to swallow, taking his penis deep into your throat will not only have your lover go wild with excitement, it will also bypass your taste buds completely.

Let go of your inhibitions and enjoy the intimacy and sensuality. Once you succumb to the moment and become aroused yourself, the little worries will quickly transpire into thin air.

Finally, when practising oral sex, remember to be safe. You don't want nasty STDs to linger with you far longer than the sexy memories.
